ProductionNissan's global production in February increased 15.0% year-on-year to 422,583 units. Production in Japan increased 13.7% year-on-year to 87,126 units, mainly due to increased demand for the new Skyline, Infiniti Q50 and the new X-Trail. Production outside of Japan increased 15.4% year-on-year to 335,457 units. In the U.S., production increased 25.3% year-on-year to 80,953 units, mainly due to increased demand for the new Rogue, marking an all-time record for the month of February. In Mexico, production increased 15.1% year-on-year to 64,876 units, mainly due to increased demand for the Nissan Versa Note, marking an all-time record for the month of February. In the U.K., production increased 8.0% year-on-year to 48,160 units, mainly due to higher demand for the Nissan Note and Nissan LEAF, marking an all-time record for the month of February. In Spain, production increased 14.7% year-on-year to 14,502 units. In China, production increased 60.7% year-on-year to 71,890 units, mainly due to increased demand for the Sylphy series and Venucia brand models. Production in other regions decreased 3.7% year-on-year to 55,076 units. 2. SalesGlobal sales increased 11.8% year-on-year to 424,023 units. Including mini-vehicles, Nissan sold 82,399 units in Japan, up 18.4% year-on-year. In Japan, vehicle registrations in February decreased 0.5% year-on-year to 53,669 units. Mini-vehicle sales in Japan increased 83.5% year-on-year to 28,730 units, mainly due to strong sales of the Nissan DAYZ series. Mini-vehicle sales were an all-time record for a single month. Sales outside of Japan increased 10.3% year-on-year to 341,624 units. Sales in the U.S. increased 15.8% year-on-year to 115,360 units, an all-time sales record for the month, mainly due to higher demand for the new Rogue, Altima and Frontier. Sales in Mexico increased 0.5% year-on-year to 20,623 units, marking an all-time sales record for the month of February. Nissan has been the sales leader in Mexico for 57 consecutive months. In Europe, sales increased 15.7% year-on-year to 58,168 units, mainly due to increased sales for the Nissan Note, marking an all-time record for the month of February. In China, sales were up 55.6% year-on-year to 71,895 units, mainly due to increased demand for the Sylphy series, Teana and the Venucia brand models. Sales in other regions decreased 8.7% year-on-year to 68,684 units. 3. Japan ExportsNissan's exports in February increased 14.7% year-on-year to 38,815 units.
