The Frontier midsize pick-up and the Versa compact sedan stood out from the rest of the range. The Nissan Versa, the market's first Japanese compact sedan, accounted for 1,463 registrations, an increase of 22% compared to February 2012. The Frontier pick-up totaled 822 registrations, which represents a 6% increase compared to same period last year. In terms of regional markets, Nissan had an outstanding performance in Recife (Pernambuco), with 5.3% of market share, in addition to Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo where Nissan reported 3.1% and 3.8% respectively.
