Powerful performance and capability
The 2023 TITAN is powered by Nissan's 5.6-liter Endurance® V8 gasoline engine rated at 400 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque. Standard horsepower is the best in class2 for V8 powertrains (premium fuel required).
The engine is mated with a 9-speed automatic transmission, with a wide gear range for optimal power for both standing starts and confident highway passing.
Helping deliver confident off-road performance are features such as Hill Start Assist and an Active Brake Limited-Slip Differential. The PRO-4X supplements those with Hill Descent Control and an electronic locking rear differential.
Safety technologies and dependability
Helping provide added peace of mind, the 2023 TITAN comes standard with Nissan Safety Shield® 360 technology. Safety Shield 360 includes Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Departure Warning, High Beam Assist and Rear Automatic Braking.
Available advanced driver assistance technologies include standard class-exclusive Intelligent Forward Collision Warning4, class-exclusive Intelligent Around View® Monitor5, Intelligent Cruise Control, Intelligent Driver Alertness6 and Traffic Sign Recognition.

Welcoming interior with plentiful technology
The interior of TITAN is both functional and an appealing place to spend time, with crafted details and premium finishes. TITAN's interior accommodations include specially selected seat and trim materials and finishes for each grade level. Versatile interior storage includes an innovative flexible smartphone holder/charging system.
TITAN has a standard 8.0-inch center touchscreen display, with an available 9.0-inch touchscreen. A 7.0-inch programmable driver information display helps ensure that drivers can access key vehicle information easily and clearly.
Connectivity includes two illuminated USB ports (1 Type-A, 1 Type-C), with two charge-only USB Type-A ports available on the back of the center console. TITAN includes Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ as standard on all grades, with wireless Apple CarPlay® on PRO-4X and Platinum Reserve.
A bold, functional exterior
The exterior design of the 2023 TITAN follows the theme of "Powerful Warrior," which emphasizes the solid capability and commanding presence. Unique grille designs give each TITAN a powerful look and a higher degree of differentiation among grade levels. For example, the Platinum Reserve grade features a satin chrome finish on the grille, while the TITAN PRO-4X is the most dramatic with a black grille centered around the Nissan badge scripted in lava red.
TITAN's pickup bed is available with full surround lighting from four LED sources, making it easier to use at night or in early morning. The rear exterior design includes available LED tail lights and unique tailgate trim. Just as the grilles feature unique personalities for each trim, TITAN PRO-4X features a black tailgate finisher, while Platinum Reserve utilizes a satin chrome finisher.
TITAN Crew Cab features a standard 5.5-foot bed, while the TITAN King Cab and TITAN XD Crew Cab include a 6.5-foot bed. Nissan's popular Utili-track® Bed Channel System features three bed rails, as well as two heavy-duty aluminum alloy cleats that move and lock anywhere along the walls, providing numerous tie-down possibilities.
Dual lockable in-bed "TITAN Box" storage boxes, available as an accessory on TITAN Crew Cab Platinum Reserve and TITAN XD PRO-4X, can hold a wide range of essential work and recreational equipment. Other TITAN bed features include a standard damped tailgate that is light to lift and smoothly damped when lowering, available spray-in bedliner and 120-volt in-bed power outlet.
TITAN XD delivers purpose-built hauling capability
Buyers who prioritize serious towing and hauling can step up to the 2023 TITAN XD, which combines the comfort and drivability of a light-duty truck with the towing confidence of a heavy-duty hauler.
The Nissan TITAN XD is built on a unique frame and chassis (compared to TITAN). The fully boxed, full-length ladder frame is extensively reinforced and strengthened for TITAN XD to provide added stiffness and torsional rigidity.
TITAN XD also features an extended 151.6-inch wheelbase – about 12 inches longer than TITAN models. Compared to the standard TITAN, the XD is three inches taller, 11.8 inches longer in wheelbase and 14.8 inches longer overall. The extra length includes a full-size 6.5-foot bed and the unique XD frame.
Helping TITAN XD owners take advantage of its ample towing power are a range of available hitches – including an available integrated gooseneck hitch engineered into the frame and easily accessible in the bed. The integrated gooseneck hitch includes a plug inside the bed for even greater ease of towing.
The TITAN offers an available maximum towing capacity of 9,323 pounds and maximum payload capacity of 1,697 pounds when properly equipped. The TITAN XD's components and trailer-assist technologies allow it to tow up to 11,033 lbs. when properly equipped (with gooseneck trailer hitch) and haul up to 2,406 lbs. payload7.
A targeted variety of models
The 2023 TITAN is offered in two King Cab grades and four Crew Cab grades, with 4x2 and 4x4 drivelines. The 2023 TITAN XD is offered uniquely in Crew Cab 4x4 models, with a choice of four trim levels.
Of particular interest for drivers heading away from pavement is the off-road-oriented TITAN PRO-4X Crew Cab model, available in 4x4 only. Its functional enhancements include 275/70R18 all-terrain tires, Bilstein off-road shock absorbers, an electronic locking rear differential, radiator and transfer case skid plates, and Hill Descent Control. Visually, it stands apart from other TITAN grades with elements like semi-gloss dark painted overfenders, semi-gloss dark gray lower front fascia and rear bumper, a black tailgate finisher, bedside decals and “PRO-4X” embroidery on the seats and floor mats.
All TITAN models are assembled at the Nissan Canton Vehicle Assembly Plant in Mississippi, with engines sourced from Nissan's Powertrain Assembly Plant in Decherd, Tennessee8.
