Kent O’Hara

Kent O'Hara is president, 4R Energy, U.S., a position to which he was appointed in April 2022. In this role, he reports to Jérémie Papin, senior vice president, Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. (NML) and chairperson, Nissan Americas, and is responsible for building the fast-growing business opportunity to reuse, resell, refabricate and recycle electric vehicle batteries.

Prior to this appointment, O'Hara was senior vice president, Global Aftersales, NML. Before that, he was senior director, Aftersales. O'Hara joined Nissan in 2008.

Before joining Nissan, O'Hara was a partner at Carlisle & Company and led global planning, Marketing & Sales/Aftersales at two other automakers as well as manufacturing operations manager at Eskco.

O'Hara holds an MBA from University of Cincinnati and a bachelor's degree in Economics from Wheaton College. He is based in Franklin, Tenn.
