Nelda J. Connors, Adviser to Nissan U.S. Board of Directors, receives Industry Influencer Award from Automotive Hall of Fame

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Nelda J. Connors, an independent outside adviser to Nissan's U.S. board of directors, will be recognized with an Industry Influencer Award from the Automotive Hall of Fame during the organization's annual Induction and Awards ceremony on July 22 in Detroit. The Industry Influencer Award recognizes individuals who are influencing and leading through their actions, innovations and visible positions on issues pertinent to the automotive industry and its future.

Connors joined the Nissan U.S. board of directors as an adviser in November 2020. In this role, she provides guidance to the board on matters of U.S. business operations, governance, short- and long-term strategic planning, diversity and inclusion and sustainability. Connors has worked in many aspects of the global automotive industry including engineering, plant management and aftermarket as well as for OEM suppliers. She is the founder and chief executive officer of Pine Grove Holdings, LLC, a privately held investment company.
