Rob Pitt

Rob Pitt is vice president, Business Optimization, North America. He was appointed to this position in January 2021. In this role, Pitt is responsible for fixed cost improvement, new model sourcing efficiency, and process improvements for Research & Development and Purchasing.

Previously, Pitt was vice President, Purchasing, Nissan North America, and oversaw all purchasing activities for parts, materials, vendor tooling, logistics, services, machinery and equipment, media, aftersales and accessories in the North American region.

Pitt joined Nissan in 1994 working at Nissan Motor Manufacturing United Kingdom (NMUK) in Sunderland, prior to assignments with Nissan Europe in Paris and Nissan Technical Centre Europe in Cranfield, U.K.

Prior to moving to North America, Pitt was at Renault in Paris where he was responsible for the purchasing of tires, wheels and suspension systems for the Alliance globally.

Pitt holds a bachelor's degree in Business Studies from the University of Sunderland in the U.K.
