We invite you to learn about the work of the Japanese American National Museum, a 2021 Nissan Foundation grantee. Since its incorporation in 1985, the museum has helped change perceptions of the Japanese American experience. The museum's exhibits cover over 130 years of Japanese American history as well as provides students and visitors with opportunities to hear from the survivors who lived the struggles that the history books don't always cover.
