Four Nissan models awarded TOP SAFETY PICK+ by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety

Winners earn good ratings in all six crashworthiness tests
Four Nissan models awarded TOP SAFETY PICK+ by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – For the second consecutive year the 2022 Nissan Rogue, Murano, Maxima and Altima a have been awarded the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety's (IIHS) TOP SAFETY PICK+  designation. In addition, the 2022 Nissan Sentra when equipped with specific headlights, earned the Institute's 2022 TOP SAFETY PICK award.  Both awards recognize vehicles that provide state-of-the-art occupant protection along with technology to avoid or mitigate a crash.

The TOP SAFETY PICK+ award winners earn good ratings in all six of the Institute's crashworthiness tests, have available an advanced or superior rating for vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-pedestrian front crash prevention system and have standard acceptable or good rated headlights. TOP SAFETY PICK award winners require all of the same as above with available good or acceptable rated headlights.
