Kevin Hines

Kevin Hines is vice president, Production Engineering and New Model Quality.

Appointed to this role in April 2024, Hines is responsible for ensuring the highest level of vehicle quality possible at maximum output for Nissan's U.S. and Mexico manufacturing operations. 

Further, in support of the company's long-term vision, Ambition 2030, Hines manages the implementation of advanced manufacturing technologies and drives process improvement and development of new technologies to support the transformation of the manufacturing process as the company moves to introduce more electric vehicles into its lineup.

Since joining Nissan in 2000, he has held several leadership roles in engineering and production, including senior director of Product Quality, Maintenance and Material Handling--Integrated Factory Automation; director, Body and Stamping Production; and senior manager, Body and New Model Process Engineering. Hines also completed an international assignment in Japan at the Nissan Technical Center in 2004-2005.

Hines holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and a Master of Business Administration from Tennessee Technological University. He currently serves on Tennessee Tech College of Mechanical Engineering's executive advisory board.
