NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Cars.com has once again recognized Nissan’s focus on safety and family-friendly design, naming the 2025 Pathfinder one of its 2025 Best Cars for Car Seats for the second consecutive year. The 2025 Nissan Rogue was also recognized as a Top Finisher, a new category spotlighting vehicles that performed well in child safety seat evaluations.
Out of 51 vehicles tested, the Pathfinder was one of only seven vehicles to earn straight A’s across all categories, reinforcing its reputation as a top choice for families. The Rogue was one of just 10 vehicles included in the Top Finisher group, a new distinction that recognizes models that nearly reached top honors and still delivered excellent results.
“The 2025 Nissan Pathfinder stands out as one of Cars.com’s Best Cars for Car Seats thanks to its family-focused design and exceptional versatility,” said Jennifer Geiger, Cars.com news editor and certified child passenger safety technician.
“It earned straight A’s across the board in our Car Seat Check — from the second row’s removable head restraints that help seats fit flush against the seatback to the easy‑access third row with clearly marked Latch anchors. With thoughtful touches like the one‑touch second‑row release and rear climate controls, the Pathfinder makes traveling with kids easier and more comfortable. And it’s not alone — the Rogue also was a Top Finisher, with easy-to-find Latch anchors, ample room for two car seats and even an extra middle-seat anchor that adds installation flexibility for growing families.”
Pathfinder continues to set the standard for family safety, having earned the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety's (IIHS) TOP SAFETY PICK+ designation for the fourth consecutive year – the organization's highest available. Rogue holds a 5-Star Overall Vehicle Safety Rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and Good or Acceptable ratings across all IIHS crashworthiness categories1.
