The OAK Nissan-Morgan team has been on an upward trajectory, finishing third at Detroit and second at Watkins Glen in the previous two outings. The legendary Canadian track suited the car well, as Yacaman blistered the track for a qualifying run at almost 128 mph. The talented young Colombian got out to a great start, building a lead that expanded to almost 30 seconds during his stint. After a quick driver change and some smooth pit work, Frenchman Olivier Pla was able to preserve the car, cruising over the last 45 minutes to win by nearly eight seconds. It was the first TUDOR Series win for OAK, Yacaman and Pla. After the race, Yacaman immediately gave credit to his OAK Racing teammates for working tirelessly to improve the car and prepare it for each race. The car has finished every race. Yacaman now stands third in the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship driver points with five events remaining. The series moved to Indianapolis Motor Speedway July 24-25 for the Brickyard Grand Prix. That race will be broadcast on a tape delay at 7:00 p.m. ET on Fox Sports 1. # # # Issued by Nissan Files OAK Racing Nissan-Morgan wins at Mosport.pdf (116 KB) Save Remove Download Share Photos / Galleries / Videos Subscribe to Email Alerts Files OAK Racing Nissan-Morgan wins at Mosport.pdf (116 KB)
