Hiroki Hasegawa

Hiroki Hasegawa is vice president, Purchasing, Nissan North America, Inc., a position to which he was appointed in April 2016. In this role, Hasegawa is responsible for the oversight of all purchasing activities for parts, materials, vendor tooling, logistics, services, machinery and equipment, media, aftersales and accessories for Nissan's operations throughout the North American region. This includes vehicle assembly at Smyrna, Tennessee; Canton, Mississippi; Aguascalientes and Cuernavaca, Mexico; and engine manufacturing at Decherd, Tennessee.

His responsibilities also include supplier quality assurance, purchasing project management and supplier relations. Hasegawa also serves as the North American regional purchasing head for the Renault-Nissan Purchasing Organization (RNPO).

Previously at Nissan, Hasegawa was appointed in April 2013 to general manager/Alliance global director, Interior Parts & Aftersales RNPO, Renault and Nissan, where he was responsible for developing Alliance synergies. In April 2009, he was appointed vice president, Purchasing Department, Renault Nissan Technology & Business Center, India Private Ltd., Renault and Nissan, where he was responsible for Nissan Alliance performance for cost competiveness and localization.

Hasegawa holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Aoyama Gakuin University, Japan. He is based in Franklin, Tennessee.
