Power Vehicle Dependability Study Nissan brand moved up five positions and achieved an above industry average ranking for vehicle dependability according to the 2015 J.D. Power Vehicle Dependability Study. In this year’s J.D. Power study of model year 2012 vehicles, Nissan jumped to 13th among brands with 128 problems per hundred vehicles (PPH). Nissan recorded 19 fewer PPH than the industry average of 147.
