The 2023 Nissan Armada continues to meet the needs of drivers looking for full-size SUV strength and capability with an extensive list of premium features and technologies. For 2023, Armada further enhances its appeal with additional hands-free technology and more standard features.
Armada was refreshed inside and out for the 2021 model year. For 2023, Armada SV, SL and Platinum add Amazon Alexa Built-in, helping customers simplify and organize their lives. Alexa can play music, place calls, control smart home devices and more, with just voice commands. The 2023 Nissan Armada SV adds standard remote engine start, LED front fog lights and an auto-dimming rear view mirror with universal garage door opener. Armada SL adds a standard heated steering wheel.

Convenient, connected technology
Armada's impressive technology offering begins with a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, equipped with wireless Apple CarPlay, wired Android Auto, Amazon Alexa Built-in, NissanConnect® Services, Nissan Door to Door Navigation and a Wi-Fi hotspot. There are two standard front USB ports (one Type A, one Type C) and two rear charge-only USB ports (one Type A, one Type C), as well as three 12-volt power outlets. Armada SV and higher also include standard wireless device charging.
Armada SL and Platinum feature a 13-speaker Bose® audio system, and Armada Platinum has a Rear Family Entertainment System with two 8-inch displays for rear-seat passengers, two sets of wireless headphones and an HDMI video input.
Armada drivers additionally benefit from a standard, color 7-inch Advanced Drive-Assist Display5 with multiple pages of vehicle information visible at a glance.
Reassuring safety technology and driving aids
Armada provides the reassurance of an extensive list of safety and driver-assistance technologies. Every Armada grade features standard Nissan Safety Shield 3606, including Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Warning, Rear Automatic Braking, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and High Beam Assist. Intelligent Forward Collision Warning, Intelligent Lane Intervention and Intelligent Blind Spot Intervention are also standard on all Armada grades.
Driver-assistance technology includes standard front and rear parking sensors, Driver Attention Alert7, haptic steering wheel feedback and Intelligent Cruise Control8. Armada SL and Platinum additionally feature Intelligent Around View® Monitor9. Armada Platinum adds an Intelligent Rear View Mirror10, Intelligent Backup Collision Intervention and Traffic Sign Recognition.
Bold strength with impressive capability
Design with rugged, body-on-frame construction, the 2023 Nissan Armada provides an impressive balance of strength, durability and utility. Every Armada features a proven 5.6-liter Endurance V8 with standard 400 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque. The standard 7-speed automatic transmission has Adaptive Shift Control and Downshift Rev Matching, and helps enhance fuel efficiency through use of its wide gear ratios and automatic transmission fluid warmer.
Armada is available in a choice of rear-wheel drive or Nissan's advanced Auto 4WD system, which features an electronically controlled transfer case with Auto, 4HI and 4LO modes.
All Armada grades have a maximum towing capacity of 8,500 pounds2, and Armada SV and higher grades feature a standard trailer brake controller and trailer sway control.
With seating for eight as standard (seven with optional Captain's Chairs package on SL and Platinum), Armada offers a generous amount of room inside its cabin. The spacious interior offers 40 inches of second-row headroom and 41 inches of second-row legroom. The cargo area has a capacity of 16.5 cubic feet with all three rows raised and up to 95.4 cubic feet with the second and third rows folded.
Armada's standard configuration features a second-row fold-flat 60/40 split bench seat and a 60/40-split folding third-row bench seat, allowing for extra cargo carrying flexibility. Heated second-row seats are standard on Platinum, along with climate-controlled (heated and cooled) front seats and a heated steering wheel. The Platinum grade further adds power-reclining and folding functionality for the third row.
Elevated features throughout
The 2023 Nissan Armada has a bold, chiseled appearance that underlines its capabilities, with desirable elements like a large signature Nissan grille, available 22-inch wheels and standard LED headlights with 50 individual LED elements.
Standard features on Armada S include 18-inch wheels, 10-way power driver's seat, 8-way power front passenger seat, auto-closure liftgate, leather-wrapped steering wheel and leather-wrapped shift knob. Armada SV adds heated front seats, leatherette seats, wireless device charging, roof rails (up to 220-pound capacity), remote engine start11 and LED front fog lights.
Armada SL elevates the SUV further with a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, leather-appointed first- and second-row seats and door trim, a power liftgate, 20-inch wheels, a power-sliding moonroof and 13-speaker Bose audio system. Armada SL is available with a Midnight Edition package that augments its appearance with black interior and exterior trim pieces, including black-painted lower bumper elements, black exterior badges, 20-inch wheels, a black headliner and Midnight Edition floor mats.
Armada Platinum adds quilted leather seats, 22-inch wheels, heated and cooled front seats, Rear Family Entertainment System, Intelligent Rear View Mirror and more. Both Armada SL and Platinum are available with a Captain's Chair package that features twin second-row captain's chairs in place of the usual bench seat, with a center console featuring a padded armrest.
