The 2023 Nissan Rogue exemplifies what makes Nissan's comprehensive lineup of crossovers so appealing. Functional for family life, packed with helpful technology and featuring striking design, the Rogue provides impressive value for crossover drivers.
Completely redesigned and remodeled just two model years ago, the Nissan Rogue also added an innovative and class-exclusive6 Variable Compression (VC) Turbo engine for the 2022 model year, delivering enhanced power, torque and best-in-class gas engine fuel efficiency.
New for the 2023 model year is a Midnight Edition package. Available on Rogue SV, it creates a blacked-out appearance with gloss-black exterior mirror caps and a gloss-black front V-motion grille, 18-inch gloss black aluminum alloy wheels, black lower front and rear fascia inserts, black exterior badging, black roof rails, a black rear diffuser and TailorFit™ leatherette seating. The Rogue Platinum and SL Premium package also add the convenience of Amazon Alexa®, helping customers simplify and organize their lives. Alexa can play music, place calls, control smart home devices and more, with just voice commands.
The 2023 Nissan Rogue is on sale now with a choice of four well-equipped grades – S, SV, SL and Platinum – with a starting Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP)7 of $27,910.
Advanced variable compression engine
At the heart of the 2023 Rogue is a standard 1.5-liter VC-Turbo engine rated for 201 horsepower and a class-leading (among gas engines) 225 lb-ft of torque. The engine can seamlessly vary its compression ratio to optimize for increased power output or for greater efficiency, as needed by the driving scenario. New for the 2023 model year, Rogue's engine also has standard Idle Stop Start8. A new generation Xtronic transmission works in tandem with the engine to help deliver improved acceleration feel and reduced fuel consumption.
This powertrain makes Rogue fun to drive and rewards owners with best-in-class gas engine fuel economy1, rated at up to 30 mpg city, 37 mpg highway and 33 mpg combined for select front-wheel-drive models.
High level of available technology
An extensive set of technologies bolsters the Rogue's appeal by helping make every drive more convenient and more connected. The Rogue has the most standard safety features in its class9 with Nissan Safety Shield® 360, a suite of technologies that includes Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Departure Warning, High Beam Assist and Rear Automatic Braking.

In addition, the Rogue features Intelligent Driver Alertness and Rear Door Alert, plus 10 standard airbags. Available driver-assistance features include Blind Spot Intervention and Traffic Sign Recognition.
To stay connected, entertained and informed while on the go, Rogue boasts an array of connectivity technology, including a standard 7-inch digital meter display with an available 12.3-inch full-color display, standard Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ on a standard 8-inch or available 9-inch touchscreen and an available 10.8-inch full-color head-up display. Wireless Apple CarPlay® is included on Rogue Platinum and in the SL Premium package.
ProPILOT Assist helps ease long drives
Rogue has another advanced technology that makes life easier on drivers: ProPILOT Assist. It helps make stop-and-go highway driving easier by combining steering assistance with Intelligent Cruise Control, which can control acceleration and braking. The system uses a forward-facing camera, forward-facing radar and other sensors to help keep Rogue centered within its lane. In stop-and-go traffic, ProPILOT Assist can even bring the vehicle down to a complete stop and hold it in place until traffic moves again.
The system can be easily activated by pushing the blue, steering-wheel-mounted ProPILOT Assist button, then setting a speed for Intelligent Cruise Control. ProPILOT Assist is standard on Rogue SV and higher.
Available ProPILOT Assist with Navi-link (standard on Rogue Platinum, optional on Rogue SL) takes things a step further by using data from the vehicle's Door-to-Door Navigation System. It can proactively adjust the Rogue's speed ahead of curves and freeway exits4, based on data about the vehicle's planned route.
Flexible and functional interior
Inside the 2023 Nissan Rogue are a wealth of details intended to make almost every journey simpler. For instance, the center console has a "butterfly-style" opening, meaning it's easier for front-row passengers to pass items back to those in the second row. The second-row doors open to a nearly 90-degree angle, improving access, which is especially helpful when installing car seats. Plus, available sunshades on the second-row doors can keep bright sun off passengers.
Rogue's cargo area is impressively spacious and flexible, with up to 74.1 cubic feet of cargo room available (second-row seats lowered). The rear seats have a 60/40 split and a two-position recline function for further optimizing passenger or luggage room. Additionally, the Divide-N-Hide® cargo floor can discreetly hide items under the floor and offers two height positions to adjust storage space depending on needs. Finally, an available power liftgate makes accessing the cargo area a little easier.
