Christian Meunier

Chairman, Nissan Americas

Christian Meunier was appointed chairman of Nissan Americas in January 2025, leading more than 40,000 employees and overseeing operations and strategy across North and South America as a critical part of Nissan’s global business plan.

In his first year as chairman, Meunier drove significant business momentum, with Nissan emerging as the fastest-growing mainstream brand in the United States based on retail sales, and one of only three brands to post year-over-year growth. Since first joining Nissan in 2002, he has held senior leadership roles across multiple regions, including senior vice president of Sales, Marketing and Operations for Nissan North America; chairman of Nissan Canada; president of Nissan Brazil; vice president of Sales for Nissan Europe; and chairman and global president of INFINITI, where he led global strategy and operations.

He has been recognized as an Automotive News All-Star (2017, 2022) and named to the MotorTrend Power List (2022, 2023).
