David Sliger

David Sliger is vice president, Decherd Powertrain Operations, Nissan U.S. Appointed to this position in December 2023, Sliger is responsible for overseeing the organization's entire engine product operations.

Sliger joined Nissan in 1997, and has held various roles of increasing responsibility within Nissan's manufacturing operations in the U.S.

Previously, Sliger was vice president, Manufacturing, Nissan Canton Vehicle Assembly Plant, where he was responsible for overseeing safety, quality, operations, productivity and environmental compliance of Nissan's assembly plant in Canton, Mississippi. Prior to this role, Sliger was senior director, Manufacturing Operations, Nissan Canton Vehicle Assembly Plant, Nissan North America. 

Sliger holds a bachelor's degree from Trevecca Nazarene University and is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.
