Matthew Ericson is regional vice president, Nissan Southeast Region, Nissan U.S. He was appointed to this position in February 2026. In this role, Ericson is responsible for regional sales and marketing, incentive spending, distribution, dealer network development, financial controls, and dealer and customer satisfaction across the Southeast Region.
Ericson was previously chief marketing manager, Nissan U.S., where he led model line strategy for Nissan SUVs including Rogue, Pathfinder and Murano, overseeing product direction, market performance and long term brand competitiveness across the portfolio.
Since joining Nissan in 2006, Ericson has advanced through a broad range of marketing, sales and dealer focused leadership roles, including general manager of global sales operations for the Americas, based in Yokohama, Japan. With nearly two decades with the company, he has built deep expertise in product leadership, dealer operations and cross functional business execution.
Ericson holds a bachelor's degree in international/global studies from Brigham Young University and a master's degree in business administration from Arizona State University's Thunderbird School of Global Management.
