2019 Nissan Murano

2019 Nissan Murano Press Kit

The new 2019 Murano's unique style and premium features are taken to a new level for the 2019 model year. The freshened exterior design includes a bold front fascia with standard LED headlamps, while the new premium interior treatment features semi-aniline leather appointments with diamond-quilted seat inserts. Additional available safety and driver's assistance technology includes Nissan Safety Shield 360 active safety features and Intelligent Lane Intervention1.

The 2019 Murano is available in four well-equipped grades: Murano S, Murano SV, Murano SL and Murano Platinum. Each comes equipped with a 260-horsepower 3.5-liter DOHC V6 connected to an advanced Xtronic transmission and is available in front-wheel drive or Intelligent All-Wheel Drive.

The revisions to the popular third-generation Murano's exterior add a more pronounced front V-motion grille, redesigned LED headlights and taillights, new LED fog lights, new 18-inch and 20-inch aluminum-alloy wheel designs and three fresh new exterior colors – Sunset Drift Chromaflair, Mocha Almond Pearl and Deep Blue Pearl.

Enhancements to the luxurious Murano interior are led by new semi-aniline leather-appointed seats with diamond-quilted inserts and contrasting micro-piping trim for the seats, door armrests and center console lid for the Murano Platinum grade. Other changes include three new interior trim finishers: Dark Wood-Tone (Platinum), Light Wood-Tone (S, SV, SL) and Metallic (S, SV, SL). In addition, all 2019 Murano models feature Nissan's innovative Rear Door Alert and Intelligent Driver Alertness1.

"From the very beginning, Murano has collected award after award for design, dependability, family friendliness, value and especially quality," said Dan Mohnke, senior vice president, Sales & Marketing and Operations, Nissan Division U.S., Nissan North America, Inc. "The enhancements for the 2019 model year are designated for one purpose – to ensure Murano remains in a class all by itself."

Safety, security and driver assistance technologies have also been revised for 2019 with the availability of Nissan Safety Shield 360, a suite of six advanced active safety and driver-assist technologies designed to help provide 360 degrees of active driver assistance, crash avoidance and pedestrian detection.

Safety Shield 360 is a critical part of Nissan Intelligent Mobility, which provides technology in a way that moves people to a better world. Safety Shield 360 includes Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Departure Warning, High Beam Assist and Rear Automatic Braking. Safety Shield 360 is standard on Murano Platinum and as part of the SL Technology Package.

The 2019 Murano also adds standard 2nd row supplemental side air bags and front passenger supplemental knee air bag. Nissan's innovative Rear Door Alert (RDA) system is also standard on all 2019 Murano grades.

All grade levels include standard NissanConnect® featuring Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™, with 8.0-inch color display with multi-touch control. Murano SL and above grades add standard NissanConnect with Navigation, which is revised for 2019 to include Door-to-Door navigation with 3D building graphics and satellite imagery, online POI search and premium traffic information.

Just two options are available – the SV Premium Package featuring Power Panoramic Moonroof, Intelligent Around View® Monitor, Bose® Premium sound system with 11 high-performance speakers and more; and the SL Technology Package with Safety Shield 360 technology, Traffic Sign Recognition and Power Panoramic Moonroof.

2019 Nissan Maxima

2019 Nissan Maxima Press Kit

The iconic Nissan Maxima sports sedan enters the 2019 model year with a mid-cycle freshening and a long list of enhancements, including:

  • Aggressive styling updates, including standard LED headlights, new front fascia and grille, revised rear fascia with LED taillights and integrated quad-tip exhaust finishers, and new wheel designs
  • New interior treatment with available semi-aniline diamond-quilted Rakuda Tan leather-appointed seating
  • Newly available Nissan Safety Shield 360 and 10 air bags, including front row knee and rear seat side supplemental air bags
  • New convenience features, including standard Rear Door Alert, Traffic Sign Recognition and two USB Type-C ports
  • New SR grade Premium Package and Platinum grade Reserve Package

The 2019 Maxima's aggressive, updated exterior appearance was created by Nissan Design America in La Jolla, Calif. and features a more voluminous front grille with a deeper V-motion flow that carries into the hood and down the body to the redesigned rear tail lamps and rear fascia. The standard jewel-like LED headlights and Nissan Signature Daytime Running Lights add to the Maxima's premium, high performance appearance, along with the new, deep fascia design.

The new rear fascia includes integrated quad-tip exhaust finishers, while a new sport rear spoiler is also added to the Maxima SR grade. New wheel designs have been developed for all five Maxima grade levels – capped off by the new 19-inch Hyper Silver Platinum Reserve Package wheels. In addition, a new premium exterior paint color, Sunset Drift ChromaFlair, has been added to the Maxima color palette.

Inside the dramatic Maxima body is a driver-oriented cockpit and comfortable seating for all five occupants. Enhancing the Maxima's already high level of quality and premium luxury appointments is a new seat insert pattern and charcoal headliner and pillars for SR and Platinum Reserve Package grades. The Platinum Reserve Package features special Rakuda Tan semi-aniline leather appointments, similar to that available on the Nissan GT-R Premium Interior Package.

The interior retains the Maxima's "Gliding Wing" interior layout that emphasizes the horizontal movement and easy access to all controls, but offers updated trim finishers and materials. Depending on grade level, the instrument panel, door panels, steering wheel insert, stitching, seat materials, headliner, pillars and A-pillar speaker grilles have been upgraded, providing a more premium look and feel.

The new Platinum Reserve Package interior offers Satin Bronze faceted interior finishers, diamond quilted Rakuda Tan semi-aniline leather appointments, Rakuda Tan steering wheel insert for a two-tone appearance and heated rear seats.

Other interior enhancements include standard Rear Door Alert (RDA) for all grade levels, revised SiriusXM® Satellite Radio with Advanced Auto Features (SiriusXM® subscription required, sold separately) and revised Nissan Door to Door Navigation system, which is standard on all grades except S.

In addition, luxury-level interior quietness is enabled by an available Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) system that works much like noise cancelling headphones, helping reduce unpleasant low-frequency sounds. An Active Sound Enhancement (ASE) system, which works by enhancing existing engine sound from the 3.5-liter V6 into the cabin (Bose® audio equipped models only), is standard on SV, SR and Platinum grades.

Maxima Platinum models include standard NissanConnect® with Navigation and Services featuring Apple CarPlayÔ and Android AutoÔ. The system's wide range of features includes automatic collision notification, remote start via smartphone, emergency call, stolen vehicle locator and more (subscription required, sold separately).

For 2019, Maxima maintains its true sports sedan performance with a standard 300-horsepower 3.5-liter VQ-series V6 engine that applies lessons learned from the legendary GT-R, such as sodium-filled valves, to meet needs of the higher compression ratio and combustion temperatures. Complementing the 3.5-liter V6 is a performance-oriented Xtronic transmission featuring a wide ratio range, which allows for strong acceleration from a standing start, and a D-Step shifting logic that provides rapid shifts at high throttle openings.

The refined Maxima handling and ride comfort starts with a 4-wheel independent suspension with monotube rear shock absorbers. The sporty Maxima SR grade features unique suspension damper tuning, a larger front stabilizer bar and 19-inch wheels and tires to add even more performance.

The new Maxima also offers available Nissan Safety Shield 360, a suite of six advanced driver-assist systems that supports the Nissan Intelligent Mobility vision to redefine how cars are driven, powered and integrated into society. Safety Shield 360 includes Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Departure Warning, High Beam Assist and Rear Automatic Braking. For 2019, it comes standard on Maxima Platinum and as part of the SR Premium Package.

In addition to Safety Shield 360, the 2019 Maxima also expands the availability of Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC), High Beam Assist (HBA) and Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR). Maxima's innovation Intelligent Driver Alertness (I-DA)1 is now standard on all grade levels.

The refreshed 2019 Nissan Maxima is offered in five well-equipped grade levels: S, SV, SL, the sporty SR and the top of the lineup Platinum. Just two options are available. The SR Premium Package includes Dual Panel Panoramic Moonroof, Safety Shield 360 technology, Intelligent Around View® Monitor and more. Inside, the Kicks story is one of quality and futuristic design in a cabin full of the innovative features expected by its tech-hungry target audience. The interior provides ample passenger space throughout the cabin, including best-in-class3 front seat legroom. Cargo space behind the 2nd row is larger than four key competitors4. Kicks also offers an EPA-rated 32.3 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seats folded down, and has an additional non-EPA rated 21.8 cu/ft of cargo space in the trunk well, enabling Kicks to offer a total 53.1 cu/ft of usable cargo space.

2019 Nissan Rogue Sport

2019 Nissan Rogue Sport Press Kit

Nissan's innovative Rear Door Alert (RDA) system is now standard on all grade levels, and one new exterior color, Scarlet Ember Tintcoat, is also added. Contents of the SV Technology Package and SL Premium Package have also been revised.

The 2019 Rogue Sport is offered in front-wheel and Intelligent All-Wheel Drive configurations, and in three well-equipped grade levels – S, SV and SL.

Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Prices (MSRP)1 for the 2019 Nissan Rogue Sport:

Again in 2019, Rogue Sport shares many of the design, utility and technology attributes that have made Rogue Nissan's best-selling vehicle in the United States. Rogue Sport is slightly smaller, sportier and more affordable for younger, urban SUV buyers than Rogue. These buyers are looking for much more space than a compact sedan, while still seeking the maneuverability and fun-to-drive feel that Rogue Sport delivers.

As fitting of the Rogue Sport name, its fun-to-drive performance credentials are achieved by a combination of a 141-horsepower 2.0-liter DOHC 16-valve inline 4-cylinder engine, Xtronic transmission with Eco Mode switch and a 4-wheel independent suspension.

ProPILOT Assist is a single-lane "hands-on" driving assistance technology that eases driver workload by reducing the amount of driver acceleration, steering and braking input under certain driving conditions, such as single-lane highway driving. ProPILOT Assist is standard on the 2019 Rogue Sport SL grade and optionally available on the Rogue Sport SV.

Nissan Safety Shield 360, which helps provide front, side and rear safety monitoring and intervention technologies, is part of the Nissan Intelligent Mobility strategy. Safety Shield 360 includes Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Rear Automatic Braking, Lane Departure Warning (LDW), radar-based Blind Spot Warning (BSW), Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) and High Beam Assist (HBA). 2019 Nissan GT-R

2019 Nissan GT-R Press Kit

The 2019 Nissan GT-R is offered in four models – GT-R Pure, GT-R Premium, GT-R Track Edition and GT-R NISMO. The GT-R Pure is designed to be the most affordable of the four followed by the GT-R Premium, which adds an 11-speaker Bose® audio system, Active Noise Cancellation and Active Sound Enhancement systems, and Titanium exhaust system to the long list of GT-R Pure standard equipment.

The GT-R Pure and GT-R Premium models' legendary performance is rooted in a hand-assembled twin-turbo VR38DETT 3.8-liter V6 engine rated at 565 horsepower and 467 lb-ft of torque. The engines are hand-assembled from beginning to end in a special clean room by specially trained technicians, a process similar to racing powerplant construction. An aluminum plate is added to the front of each engine showing the name of the Takumi engine craftsman.

Standard on GT-R Premium models is a Titanium exhaust system, which combines with Active Noise Cancellation and Active Sound Enhancement technologies to filter out unwanted noise and retain excitement during spirited driving.

The GT-R Track Edition is designed to deliver a higher level of performance than the GT-R Pure and Premium models, while featuring many elements of the flagship GT-R NISMO. The GT-R Track Edition retains the GT-R Pure and Premium models' 565-horsepower engine rating (versus the GT-R NISMO's 600-horsepower rating).

The Track Edition's performance features start under the skin with additional adhesive bonding (in addition to spot welding), which helps increase body shell rigidity versus the GT-R Pure and Premium models. The NISMO-tuned 4-wheel independent suspension receives unique NISMO tuning, with reduced weight and additional roll stiffness. Other standard equipment includes GT-R NISMO front fenders, 20-inch NISMO forged aluminum-alloy wheels and dry carbon-fiber rear spoiler1. Inside, the Track Edition interior includes a unique red and black color treatment with high-grip, motorsports-inspired Recaro® seats.

The Nissan GT-R NISMO remains the extreme iteration of Nissan's GT-R supercar, featuring outstanding performance2 – anchored by a 600-horsepower high-capacity turbocharged 3.8-liter V6, enhanced body structure and unique NISMO suspension tuning.

Unique NISMO body features include carbon fiber front and rear bumpers, black outside mirrors with red stripe and carbon fiber side sills and emblem treatment. The GT-R NISMO's handmade dry carbon rear spoiler has a special coating that allows carbon fiber "weave" to be felt by the touch. The lightweight dry carbon fiber material is also incredibly strong1.

Inside, the GT-R NISMO instrument panel and steering wheel are covered with high-quality Alcantara® suede. NISMO racers influenced the design of the dark gray with red stripe steering wheel, with three spokes, red center mark and red stitching to give a strong combination of grip, feedback and comfort. An 8-inch touch-panel monitor featuring large icons on the display screen make it simple to use, while the Display Command control on the carbon fiber center console allows easy operation without having to touch the monitor. Unique to GT-R NISMO are the leather-appointed Recaro® seats with red synthetic suede inserts.

All 2019 Nissan GT-R models are built on an exclusive Premium Midship platform, which enables the use of the unique independent rear transaxle ATTESA E-TS all-wheel drive system. This system places the transmission, transfer case and final drive at the rear of the vehicle, optimizing weight distribution and maximizing handling capability. Total vehicle adjustability is provided by set-up switches located in the center of the instrument panel, enabling the driver to adjust transmission, shock absorbers and the Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC-R) among three settings – Normal, Special or R.

There are no significant changes to GT-R for the 2019 model year.

Inside, the all-new premium interior features a wide "gliding wing" instrument panel – which accentuates the exterior's low cowl and hood, helping create an open, airy environment. It is available in a range of nine dynamic exterior colors.

Key interior comfort and convenience features range from standard 8-way power driver's seat with added bolstering for improved holding and support, to a selection of audio and infotainment choices, including a Bose® Premium Audio system with nine speakers, and a new digital amplifier with eight channels of custom equalization.

Standard on all grade levels is a new 2.5-liter DOHC inline 4-cylinder direct injection engine, which is rated at 188 horsepower (versus the previous 2.5-liter's 179 hp) and 180 lb-ft of torque (versus the previous 177 lb-ft). More than just the gains in horsepower and torque, the new engine is more refined, quieter and offers improved fuel economy (based on EPA figures).

2019 Nissan TITAN

2019 Nissan Titan Press Kit

The Nissan TITAN half-ton pickup enters the 2019 model year with a range of enhancements – starting with an all-new Fender® Premium Audio System. It is offered on four 2019 TITAN Crew Cab grade levels and one TITAN King Cab model. The system's 485-watt, 9-channel amplifier with Panasonic's proprietary Acoustic Motion Control™ renders the reverberation and ambience of original recordings with stunning realism. It is designed to provide the precise, tight bass sound control usually reserved for a studio rather than a full-size pickup. The result is the delivery of "arena-sized sound" to the roomy TITAN Crew Cab and King Cab cabins.

Other changes for 2019 include:

  • A new 7.0-inch touchscreen audio/IT display with NissanConnect® featuring Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ – standard on all models
  • New Rear Door Alert (RDA) system1, which helps remind drivers to check the back seat after the vehicle is parked, added as standard equipment on TITAN King Cab and Crew Cab models
  • An additional USB media port (two total)
  • A pair of illuminated USB-A charge ports is added to PRO-4X, SL and Platinum Reserve grades
  • A new body-color outer grille with gloss metallic black inner treatment for the SV grade (replaces the previous chrome grille treatment)
  • Two new exterior paint colors: Midnight Pine Metallic and Moab Sunset Metallic

As part of a Nissan model line initiative, the innovative Rear Door Alert (RDA) system is now standard on all King Cab and Crew Cab TITAN models. The system uses the vehicle's door sensors, horn and message display to help remind drivers to check the back seat after the vehicle is parked. Nissan plans to have RDA standard on all four-door trucks, sedans and SUV nameplates by model year 2022.

Again in 2019, TITAN is available in a full range of rugged half-ton models, including Single Cab, King Cab and Crew Cab body configurations, 4x2 and 4x4 drive, and a choice of up to five grade levels. Every TITAN is powered by a 390-horsepower 5.6-liter Endurance® V8 gasoline engine mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission.

The TITAN Midnight Edition Package, introduced last year, is again available on Crew Cab SV and SL grade 4x4 and 4x2 models, providing a custom look straight from the factory.

Like the TITAN XD, the TITAN was developed with core Nissan planning, design, engineering and manufacturing teams contributing from Tennessee, California, Michigan, Arizona and Mississippi. The TITAN is assembled in Canton, Mississippi, with its V8 engines assembled in Decherd, Tennessee.3
