Nissan U.S. appoints Dean Case as 2024 motorsports press officer

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Nissan North America announced the contract appointment of Dean Case as the 2024 Nissan U.S. motorsports press officer. Case will support the rapidly expanding Nissan Z GT4 program in the Pirelli GT4 America Championship, beginning with the SRO Motorsports America season opener at Sonoma Raceway April 5-7.

Case, a former Nissan engineer and product communications specialist (1998-2006), brings a wealth of experience to the role including the U.S. launch of the Nissan 350Z and NISMO. He has since focused on freelance work, specializing in motorsports, electric vehicles and engineering.

In his role, Case will collaborate with NNA Corporate Communications in Tennessee and the Michigan-based Nissan motorsports engineering team.

"Dean's background in both engineering and product communications uniquely qualifies him for this role," said Dom Vizor, director, Nissan U.S. Product Communications. "His passion for motorsports and the Nissan brand will undoubtedly enhance our communications efforts within the motorsports community."
