Ponz Pandikuthira is senior vice president, chief product & planning officer for Nissan Americas. Appointed to this position in April 2023, Pandikuthira oversees the Product Planning, Vehicle Line Program Management Office (PMO), Vehicle Connected Services and Market Intelligence functions. Pandikuthira is responsible for leading these teams to deliver highly competitive products, technology and connected business services that will competitively position Nissan in a market that is rapidly being transformed by electrification, digitization, and sustainability.
Previously, Pandikuthira was vice president, Global Marketing, Nissan Motor Corporation. He brings more than two decades of industry experience and has been with Nissan since 2012 in a variety of leadership roles including global head of Vehicle Connected Services and Product Marketing.
Pandikuthira holds a global executive MBA from INSEAD Business School for the World, a master's degree in engineering from the University of Michigan, a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Iowa State University and a second bachelor's degree in physics and math from Coe College – Cedar Rapids, IA.
