2018 Nissan Sentra Press Kit: Overview

The Nissan Sentra continues to be one of the brand's top sellers and most recognized nameplates – a mainstay in the compact sedan segment for more than 35 years and seven generations. For the 2018 model year, Sentra receives a number of enhancements designed to up its already strong desirability equation – including the continuation of the high value SR Midnight Edition Package introduced in mid-2017.

Key 2018 Sentra changes include:

• Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB)¹ now standard on all grade levels (except manual transmission-equipped and Sentra NISMO models)
• RearView Monitor and 5.0-inch color display with Streaming Audio via Bluetooth® and Siri® Eyes-Free added as standard on S grade (now available on all models)

Following the addition of the new Sentra NISMO and Sentra SR Turbo models for 2017, Sentra is again offered in a full range of trim and performance levels – including two powertrains and a choice of manual or Xtronic transmissions. The 2018 lineup includes Sentra S (6MT and Xtronic), Sentra SV (Xtronic), Sentra SR (Xtronic), Sentra SL (Xtronic), SR Turbo (6MT and Xtronic) and Sentra NISMO (6MT and Xtronic). A Nissan "Family" Exterior

The 2018 Sentra exterior combines a sense of sportiness with its refined style and proportions. Key features of the Sentra exterior include a bold front fascia, grille, fenders, hood and signature boomerang-shaped headlights. LED low-beam headlights with LED signature accents are offered on Sentra SR and Sentra SL grades. In the rear, the boomerang-shaped taillights add a more premium appearance.

The Sentra exterior design is elegant, modern and refined, reflecting a "professional" character targeted at upwardly bound buyers who aspire to drive something more upscale than other designs in the segment. Exterior features include chrome door handles and chrome window accents, and available heated outside mirrors with integrated turn signals.

The Sentra SR offers a sportier appearance, with unique design 17-inch 10-spoke aluminum-alloy wheels, lower body side sill extensions, rear spoiler with integrated LED brake light, fog lights and chrome exhaust tip finisher.

The available SR Midnight Edition exterior treatment, including black heated outside mirrors, black rear spoiler, black license plate finisher, black V-motion grille, black fog lamp surrounds, black exterior name/grade badges and black Midnight Edition badge.

Eight colors are available – Brilliant Silver, Super Black, Aspen White (premium charge), Gun Metallic, Red Alert, Scarlet Ember (premium color), Fresh Powder and Deep Blue Pearl.

A Roomy, Refined Interior Environment

Inside, the 2018 Sentra features one of the largest interiors in its class, with 111.0 cubic feet of total interior volume. Helping make this possible is the long wheelbase (106.3 inches), which helps provide both ample rear seat legroom of 37.4 inches and large trunk capacity of 15.1 cubic feet. The rear seat is a standard 60/40-split fold-down design, adding versatility to the large trunk space.

The intuitive interior layout emphasizes driver control and exceptional seat comfort for all occupants. The high-quality interior design features materials not usually found in compact vehicles, including soft-touch instrument panel and door armrests and available leather-appointed seating.

Standard features include a 6-way manual driver's seat, 4-way manual front passenger's seat, front and rear door pockets, front center console with padded armrest and cupholders, rear seat armrest with cupholders, air conditioning with in-cabin microfilter and available Dual Zone Automatic Temperature Control (ATC) system.

Other features include tilt and telescopic steering column, power windows with driver's one-touch auto up/down with auto reverse, power door locks with auto-locking feature, remote keyless entry, Nissan Intelligent Key® keyless entry with push button ignition and standard RearView Monitor.

The standard Sentra audio system is an AM/FM/CD system with four speakers and USB connection for iPod® and other compatible devices. Other available audio systems include a 6-speaker AM/FM/CD system with 5.0-inch color display and an 8-speaker Bose® Premium audio system with 5.8-inch color touch-screen display. Also available is SiriusXM® Satellite Radio (SiriusXM® subscription required, sold separately), while Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone System is standard on all grades.

All grades (except S 6MT) include a 5.0-inch Advanced Drive-Assist™ Display (ADAD) located between the tachometer and speedometer. These grades also include Siri Eyes Free® Voice Recognition as standard equipment.

Advanced Connectivity and Safety Shield Technologies

The 2018 Sentra offers advanced technology features that help owners stay connected. Standard on Sentra SL and available on SV and SR grades is NissanConnect with Navigation and Mobile Apps, featuring a 5.8-inch color touch-screen, NissanConnect Mobile Apps, SiriusXM® Traffic, SiriusXM® Travel Link™ with fuel prices, weather, movie listing, sports scores and stock prices (SiriusXM® subscription required, sold separately), and Nissan Voice Recognition for audio and navigation.

Also available is NissanConnect Services powered by SiriusXM®. It offers emergency preparedness, remote access, customizable alerts and convenience services (SiriusXM® subscription required, sold separately). The system allows the driver to set customized alerts for family and friends – such as speed, curfew and boundary notifications. It is available on Sentra SR 1.8-liter as part of the Premium Package and now standard on Sentra SL.

A number of Nissan's advanced Safety Shield Technologies are available for the 2018 model year – Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB)1 (standard on Xtronic transmission-equipped models except Sentra NISMO) and available Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC), Blind Spot Warning (BSW) and Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA).

In addition, Sentra's list of standard safety and security features include the Nissan Advanced Air Bag System (AABS) with dual-stage supplemental front air bags with seat belt and occupant classification sensors; front seat-mounted side impact supplemental air bags; roof-mounted curtain side impact supplemental air bags with rollover sensor for front and rear-seat outboard occupant head protection; 3-point front and rear seatbelts, front seat belts with pre-tensioners and load limiters and adjustable upper anchors; and LATCH System (Lower Anchors and Tethers for CHildren).

Sentra also offers child safety rear door locks; Zone Body construction featuring front and rear crumple zones and occupant zone; Nissan Immobilizer system and anti-theft alarm system; and Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) with position monitoring and available Easy Fill Tire Alert system.

Fuel-Efficient 1.8-liter Engine and Advanced Xtronic Transmission

All 2018 Sentra models (except SR Turbo and Sentra NISMO) utilize a fuel-efficient 1.8-liter 4-cylinder engine mated to an advanced Xtronic transmission with sub-planetary gear. A 6-speed manual transmission is also available with the Sentra S grade.

The engine offers a longer stroke than typical engines in its class, resulting in improved combustion speed and efficiency. It is equipped with a twin Continuously Variable Timing Control (CVTC) system that modulates both the intake and exhaust valve opening time (similar to that used on the flagship Nissan Maxima). In addition, the valve springs are shaped similar to a beehive, with a smaller diameter towards the top – reducing inertial weight, improving valvetrain efficiency and smoothing engine operation. The engine is rated at 124 horsepower (130 horsepower S 6MT) and 125 lb-ft of torque (128 lb-ft S 6MT).

The Xtronic transmission offers a wide gear ratio range of 7.3:1 through use of a sub-planetary gear and smaller pulleys, resulting in high-speed fuel efficiency and responsive acceleration. The Xtronic's acceleration feel is enhanced with a D-mode step shift program that simulates shifts, giving a more natural acceleration feeling without holding a high rpm constant, letting rpms build as speed builds. The D-Step Logic Control helps provide enhanced drivability with a stable, natural and crisp shift feel.

Fuel economy² is rated at 29 mpg city, 37 mpg highway and 32 mpg combined with the Xtronic transmission. The Sentra S with 6-speed manual transmission is rated at 27 mpg city, 35 mpg highway and 30 mpg combined³.

The 2018 Sentra also delivers responsive handling through an independent strut front suspension with stabilizer bar and torsion beam rear suspension with integrated stabilizer bar. The suspension also utilizes high frequency-response shock absorbers.

Sentra also features standard Active Understeer Control system (not available on S 6MT), similar to that utilized on Altima. The AUC system utilizes intelligent control logic and high-response brake actuators to lightly brake the inside front wheels during cornering (as required) to increase yaw-moment. Using the Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC)/Traction Control System (TCS) as its base, Active Understeer Control is almost undetectable when it operates.

Vehicle speed-sensitive Electric Power Steering (EPS) and power-assisted vented front disc/rear drum braking system are standard, with 4-wheel disc brakes available on SR and SL grades.

Available wheels and tire combinations include 16-inch steel wheels with full covers for S or 16-inch aluminum-alloy wheels for SV grade – with 205/55R16 size all-season tires. Sentra SR and SL grades feature 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels with 205/50R17 all-season tires. Black 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels are available with the SR Midnight Edition.

A Range of Well-Equipped Models

The 2018 Nissan Sentra is offered in five models: S 6MT, S Xtronic, SV, SR and SL. Along with the high-value list of standard equipment on Sentra S, the popular SV grade content features standard Nissan Intelligent Key with illuminated Push Button Ignition, two rear illuminated USB ports, Dual Zone Automatic Temperature Control, leather-wrapped steering wheel, sliding front armrest, premium cloth seating and door trim, rear seat center console, Piano Black interior trim, 16-inch aluminum alloy wheels, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) with Easy-Fill Tire Alert and more.

2018 Nissan Sentra NISMO Press Kit: Overview

The Sentra NISMO is the latest in a long line of compact Nissan performance sedans going back nearly 50 years to the Datsun 510 and the original Sentra SE-R. The 2018 Sentra NISMO model's comprehensive transformation from everyday sedan to a highly personal performance machine includes aggressive exterior treatment, performance-oriented interior and unique suspension tuning.

Introduced just last year, the big change for the 2018 Sentra NISMO is the inclusion of the previous Premium Package content as standard equipment, including:

A Distinctive Presence
The first thing most people notice about the Sentra NISMO is its highly aggressive presence, which goes even above the sporty Sentra SR and Sentra SR Turbo grades. Applying the NISMO philosophy of "totally balanced tuning for high speed driving, to provide ultimate driving pleasure," the Sentra NISMO aerodynamic design focus was on realizing zero lift without harming overall coefficient of drag (Cd). Therefore, while Sentra NISMO offers the same 0.29 Cd as standard Sentra models, it offers a 30 percent reduction in lift force.

Beyond the aerodynamic enhancements, the overall exterior appearance is instantly recognized as pure NISMO with its signature "layered double wing" design in the front, side and rear lower body panels. A thin red stripe accents the lower panels.

In front, a unique front fascia dominates, along with standard LED Daytime Running Lights, NISMO dark chrome V-Motion grille and NISMO badge. Other styling features include unique side sills, NISMO rear fascia and spoiler, NISMO exhaust finisher, dark chrome door handles and trunk finisher, rear NISMO badge and black NISMO outside mirror caps with integrated turn signals and NISMO red stripe.

Helping give Sentra NISMO its aggressive stance, while also helping enhance handling performance, are 18-inch NISMO 10-spoke aluminum-alloy wheels mounted with specially selected 215/45R18 Michelin Pilot Sport all-season tires. Ride height has also been reduced by 0.4-inch.

The 2018 Sentra NISMO is offered in four exterior colors – Brilliant Silver, Gun Metallic, Super Black and Aspen White.

Inside, the Sentra NISMO interior is designed to support exciting driving – starting with unique NISMO front seats with logo and additional side bolstering. The rear seats feature unique cloth material with red stitching.

Red motorsports-inspired accents are found throughout the interior, including on the unique Alcantara and leather-wrapped steering wheel, the push button start with red start ring, NISMO meter cluster with red tachometer, leather shifter knob and NISMO embroidered carpets. A dark headliner and NISMO logo on the instrument panel complete the special interior treatment. Just one interior color is offered, Charcoal with red accents.

Balanced Performance
At the heart of any NISMO-badged production vehicle is the engine, such as the GT-R NISMO's 600-horsepower 3.8-liter V6. For the Sentra NISMO, the engineers started with a 1.6-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that fit perfectly within the aerodynamically aggressive Sentra NISMO bodywork. More than just an engine transplant, however, the motorsports-inspired transformation from practical sedan to a vehicle worthy of the NISMO badge involved a precisely balanced tuning of body, interior, chassis, suspension, steering and powertrain.

As a pure factory tuned performance vehicle, Sentra NISMO offers buyers something aftermarket tuners can't – a balanced approach that goes deep under the skin of the vehicle with modifications to the structural integrity.

Starting with the solid Sentra body, which packs ample interior roominess in a compact-size exterior, the Sentra NISMO body structure is enhanced with a number of factory tuned body reinforcements. The cowl is thicker and vehicle floor and rear parcel shelf are reinforced to stiffen the body structure, improving responsiveness to steering inputs – helping provide an enhanced platform for the engine and NISMO-tuned suspension. Every single aspect from front fascia to rear spoiler and everything in between is designed to work together to provide an enhanced driving experience – with equal emphasis on power and handling.

The power side of the equation comes in the form of Sentra NISMO's 1.6-liter Direct Injection Gasoline (DIGÔ) turbocharged engine, which is shared with the Sentra SR Turbo model. Rated at 188 horsepower at 5,600 RPM and 177 lb-ft of torque at 1,600 - 5,200 RPM, the 16-valve DOHC aluminum-alloy inline 4-cylinder engine includes a 10.5:1 compression ratio, Continuously Variable Valve Timing Control System (CVTCS), spray-coated and mirror-finish cylinder bores, a variable pressure oil pump and a low-pressure EGR system, which helps lower exhaust gas temperature and improve knock sensitivity.

The engine is matched with choice of a 6-speed manual transmission, with gear ratios selected to take maximum advantage of the engine's powerband and torque curve, or an advanced, tuned Xtronic transmission.

For buyers choosing the Xtronic transmission, it has been specially tuned to match the engine's performance. Acceleration feel is enhanced with the Xtronic's D-mode step shift program, giving a more linear acceleration feeling without holding a high rpm constant, letting rpms build as speed builds.

Delivering on the handling aspect of the Sentra NISMO, the engineering team sought to provide a noticeable improvement even beyond the enhanced performance of the sporty Sentra SR Turbo. Five key areas were designated to meet the NISMO standards – handling response, grip, steering feel, body control and ride/handling balance.

The NISMO-tuned independent strut front/rear torsion beam suspension adopts monotube rear dampers and unique tuning of the front springs and struts. The lightweight monotube shock design features separate oil and gas chambers and high-pressure gas charge to help provide quicker response to damper stroke and velocity changes. Faster damper response means faster reaction to changing steering or road conditions. In addition, the NISMO tuning of the springs and struts helps improve body control (roll and pitch) for higher demand cornering.

Steering effort of the Electric Power Steering (EPS) system has also been specially tuned to provide a "NISMO feel." The special dialing in of the effort/response relationship helps provide good highway and winding road feedback, precise on-center definition without overly high driver effort and a linear, direct steering feel at turn-in.

Also contributing to the overall handling performance is the unique Sentra NISMO wheel and tire combination. Utilizing NISMO 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels mounted with 215/45ZR18 Michelin Pilot Sport all-season tires, cornering power and grip levels are improved, even over the Sentra SR Turbo. For customers seeking maximum grip, high-performance 215/45WR18 Bridgestone Potenza RE-71R summer tires are available through Nissan dealers.

Like the SR Turbo, the steering system includes a larger steering motor and revised electronic mapping to provide reduced effort at parking and low speeds. The Sentra NISMO also utilizes a 4-wheel disc brake system with 11.7-inch vent front discs and 11.5-inch solid rear discs.

2018 Nissan Sentra SR Turbo Press Kit: Overview

The Sentra SR Turbo takes the sporty look and performance of the popular Sentra SR and kicks things up a notch. At the heart of the 2018 Sentra SR Turbo is its 1.6-liter Direct Injection Gasoline (DIGÔ) turbocharged engine that delivers a 50 percent horsepower increase from the normally aspirated 1.8-liter Sentra SR powerplant. Rated at 188 horsepower and 177 lb-ft of torque, the SR Turbo engine offers 64 more horsepower and 52 more lb-ft of torque than non-turbo Sentra models1 (except Sentra S 6MT model, rated at 130 hp and 128 lb-ft of torque.).

And, like all 2018 Sentra models, Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB)² is now standard (except manual transmission and Sentra NISMO models). An element of Nissan Intelligent Safety Shield Technologies, AEB can help avoid or reduce the severity of potential frontal collisions.
The SR Turbo is based on the popular Sentra SR grade level, which accounts for more than 15 percent total Sentra sales. The SR Turbo maintains the SR's unique sporty exterior, interior and wheel treatments.

Under the skin, however, things get radically different. The 16-valve DOHC aluminum-alloy inline 4-cylinder engine includes a 10.5:1 compression ratio, Continuously Variable Valve Timing Control System (CVTCS), spray-coated and mirror-finish cylinder bores, a variable pressure oil pump and a low-pressure EGR system, which helps lower exhaust gas temperature and improve knock sensitivity.

The Continuously Variable Valve Timing Control System (CVTCS) includes an intermediate lock function on the intake side, while the use of spray-coated and mirror-finish cylinder bores (versus the iron liners) provides an estimated 12 percent reduction in internal friction, which also improves anti-knock performance and reduces engine weight.

To help handle the increased power and torque, significant changes were made to the suspension, steering and brakes to give the SR Turbo a great driving feel. The enhancements to the independent strut front/rear torsion beam suspension are designed to handle the increased power and include a 10 percent increase in front spring stiffness. The SR Turbo-specific front and rear dampers have been optimized for use with the 17-inch wheels and tires – front damping has been increased 23 percent and rear damping by 50 percent.

In addition, the suspension benefits from body enhancements that range from increased front cowl thickness to a special steering gear mounting. The Electric Power Steering (EPS) system changes include a larger steering motor and revised electronic mapping to provide a balanced feel between reduced effort at parking and low speed situations and enhanced feedback on highways and winding roads.

Larger front brakes and calipers are utilized in the SR Turbo's 4-wheel disc brake system – 11.7-inch vent front (versus the 11.0-inch front discs of the standard Sentra) and 11.5-inch solid rear discs. In addition, the Active Understeer Control system has been optimized for the SR Turbo.

The result of the special powertrain, unique suspension tuning and other enhancements is an improved acceleration feeling from standing starts and highway passing, along with improved handling response and enhanced ride comfort.

Like the non-Turbo Sentra SR, the exterior is marked by LED low beam projector headlights with LED accents, lower body side sill extensions, rear spoiler with integrated LED brake light, fog lights, chrome exhaust finisher, heated outside mirrors with LED turn signals, and unique design 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels with 205/50R17 all-season tires. The SR Turbo also includes a standard power sliding glass moonroof with tilt feature and SR Turbo badging.

The SR Turbo is offered in seven exterior colors: Red Alert, Brilliant Silver, Gun Metallic, Super Black, Aspen White (premium color) , Scarlet Ember (premium color) and Deep Blue Pearl.

Inside, the SR Turbo (like the non-turbo SR) includes sport interior trim, premium sport cloth seats, driver's seatback pocket and heated front seats. All Sentra grades offer ample roominess in a compact-size exterior – featuring one of the largest interiors in class, with 111.0 cubic feet of total interior volume. Helping make this possible is the long wheelbase (106.3 inches), which helps provide both ample rear seat legroom of 37.4 inches and large trunk capacity of 15.1 cubic feet. The rear seat is a standard 60/40-split fold-down design, adding versatility to the large trunk space.

The high-quality Sentra SR Turbo interior design features soft-touch instrument panel and door armrests, Nissan Intelligent Key® keyless entry with push button ignition and RearView Monitor. Other features include tilt and telescopic steering column, power windows with driver's one-touch auto up/down with auto reverse, power door locks with auto-locking feature, remote keyless entry and remote trunk, 5.0-inch Advanced Drive-Assist™ Display (ADAD) located between the tachometer and speedometer, and fuel-filler door releases.

The Sentra NISMO, the first mainstream U.S. Nissan model to offer motorsports-inspired NISMO factory-tuned performance, offers a comprehensive transformation from everyday sedan to a highly personal performance machine – including an aggressive exterior treatment, performance-oriented interior and unique suspension tuning.

Introduced just last year, the big change for the 2018 Sentra NISMO is the inclusion of the previous Premium Package content as standard equipment, including:

As expected of any vehicle wearing the NISMO badge, the Sentra NISMO offers ample power under the hood. The 1.6-liter Direct Injection Gasoline (DIGÔ) turbocharged engine is rated at 188 horsepower and 177 lb-ft of torque. The 16-valve DOHC aluminum-alloy inline 4-cylinder engine includes a 10.5:1 compression ratio, a Continuously Variable Valve Timing Control System (CVTCS), spray-coated and mirror-finish cylinder bores and a variable pressure oil pump. The DIGÔ system helps improve combustion, enhancing power, torque, economy and emissions, while use of the turbocharger and intercooler helps boost power. The variable timing control for both intake and exhaust cycles improves low-end engine response.

The engine is matched with choice of a 6-speed manual transmission, with gear ratios selected to take maximum advantage of the engine's powerband and torque curve, or an advanced, tuned Xtronic transmission. The Sentra NISMO also receives an enhanced body structure and NISMO-tuned steering and suspension tuning (versus standard Sentra models).

The NISMO-tuned independent strut front/rear torsion beam suspension adopts monotube rear dampers and unique tuning of the front springs and struts. The lightweight monotube shock design features separate oil and gas chambers and high-pressure gas charge to help provide quicker response to damper stroke and velocity changes. Faster damper response means faster reaction to changing steering or road conditions. In addition, NISMO tuning of the springs and struts helps improve body control (roll and pitch) for higher demand cornering.

Steering effort of the Electric Power Steering (EPS) system has also been specially tuned to provide a "NISMO feel." The special dialing in of the effort/response relationship helps provide good highway and winding road feedback, precise on-center definition without overly high driver effort and a linear, direct steering feel at turn-in.

Also contributing to the overall handling performance is the unique Sentra NISMO wheel and tire combination. Utilizing NISMO 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels mounted with 215/45ZR18 Michelin Pilot Sport all-season tires, cornering power and grip levels are improved. At a Glance: 2018 Nissan Sentra SR Turbo

The Sentra SR Turbo takes the sporty look and performance of the popular Sentra SR and kicks things up a notch. At the heart of the 2018 Sentra SR Turbo is its 1.6-liter Direct Injection Gasoline (DIGÔ) turbocharged engine that delivers a 50 percent horsepower increase from the normally aspirated 1.8-liter Sentra SR powertrain. Rated at 188 horsepower and 177 lb-ft of torque, the SR Turbo engine offers 64 more horsepower and 52 more lb-ft of torque than non-turbo Sentra models¹ (except Sentra S 6MT model, rated at 130 hp and 128 lb-ft of torque.)

To help handle the increased power and torque, the Sentra SR Turbo features an enhanced body structure, revised steering system, larger front disc brakes, Xtronic transmission with manual mode (SR Turbo is also offered with a 6-speed manual transmission) and unique suspension tuning. The result is improved acceleration feeling from standing starts and highway passing, improved handling and enhanced ride comfort (versus non-turbo Sentra models).

The Sentra SR Turbo model's 16-valve DOHC aluminum-alloy inline 4-cylinder engine includes a 10.5:1 compression ratio, a Continuously Variable Valve Timing Control System (CVTCS), spray-coated and mirror-finish cylinder bores and a variable pressure oil pump. The DIGÔ system helps improve combustion, enhancing power, torque, economy and emissions, while use of the turbocharger and intercooler helps boost power. The variable timing control for both intake and exhaust cycles improves low-end engine response. Taken together, the engine combines spirited performance and efficient fuel economy.

The enhancements to the suspension are designed to handle the increased power and include a 10 percent increase in front spring stiffness. The SR Turbo-specific front and rear damper tuning has been optimized for use with the 17-inch wheels and tires – front damping has been increased 23 percent and rear damping by 50 percent. In addition, the suspension benefits from body enhancements that range from increased front cowl thickness to unique steering gear mounting.

The changes to the standard Electric Power Steering (EPS) system include a larger steering motor and remapped electronic to provide a balance feel between reduced effort at parking and low speed situations and enhanced feedback on highways and winding roads. Larger front brakes and calipers are also utilized, and Sentra's Active Understeer Control system has been optimized for the SR Turbo.

The 2018 Sentra SR Turbo includes a standard power sliding glass moonroof with tilt feature and SR Turbo badging. Like the non-turbo Sentra SR, the exterior is marked by LED low beam projector headlights with LED accents, lower body side sill extensions, rear spoiler with integrated LED brake light, fog lights, chrome exhaust finisher, heated outside mirrors with LED turn signals, and unique design 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels with 205/50R17 all-season tires.

Inside, both SR and SR Turbo grades include sport interior trim, premium sport cloth seats, driver's seatback pocket and heated front seats. Also offered are a standard 5.0-inch Advanced Drive-Assist™ Display (ADAD) located between the tachometer and speedometer, and Siri Eyes Free™ Voice Recognition.

All 2018 Sentras, including the SR Turbo, also offer ample roominess in a compact-size exterior, including an outstanding 37.4 inches of rear seat legroom. The intuitive interior layout emphasizes driver control and exceptional seat comfort for all occupants. The high-quality interior design features soft-touch instrument panel and door armrests, Nissan Intelligent Key® keyless entry with push button ignition and RearView Monitor.

Like all 2018 Sentra models, Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB)¹ is now standard (Xtronic transmission equipped models only). An element of Nissan Intelligent Safety Shield Technologies, AEB can help avoid or reduce the severity of potential frontal collisions.
