All-new 2026 Nissan Sentra and 2026 LEAF named Finalists for North American Car and Utility Vehicle of the Year

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Two of Nissan's newest models – the all-new 2026 Nissan Sentra and all-new 2026 Nissan LEAF – have been named finalists for the North American Car, Truck and Utility Vehicle of the Year™ (NACTOY) awards.

The Sentra is a Top 3 finalist for North American Car of the Year and the LEAF is a Top 3 finalist for North American Utility Vehicle of the Year. Winners will be revealed in January at the North American International Auto Show.

The North American Car, Truck and Utility Vehicle of the Year™ awards are judged by an independent panel of 50 automotive journalists from the U.S. and Canada. Evaluation criteria include innovation, design, safety, driver satisfaction and overall value.
