Inspired by traditional Japanese craftsmanship, Xmotion stands out from other concept vehicles with design inspired by Nissan's Japanese heritage. In a nod to that past, Nissan invited craftspeople from Kyoto, Japan's GO ON project to demonstrate several ancient techniques during the auto show in Detroit. GO ON is a collaboration of Kyoto craftspeople who apply traditional techniques to create inspiring new designs with international appeal. The group takes pride in pushing the boundaries of their crafts and bringing "the poetry of Japanese design" to the world. # # # Contact Dan Passe General Manager Global Product Communications Office: +81 (0)50 3804 5833 Mobile: +81 (0)70 1408 5052 dan-passe@mail.nissan.co.jp Koji Okuda Deputy General Manager Japan Communications +81 (0)45-523-5552 koji-okuda@mail.nissan.co.jp Joshua Clifton Senior Manager Corporate Communications +1 (615) 725-1767 joshua.clifton@nissan-usa.com Issued by Nissan Files Where tradition meets modernity – inspiration for the Nissan Xmotion concept.pdf (66 KB) Save Remove Download Share Photos / Galleries / Videos Subscribe to Email Alerts Files Where tradition meets modernity – inspiration for the Nissan Xmotion concept.pdf (66 KB)
